Professor at Warsaw School of Economics, employed since 1989. Chairwoman at Jean Monnet Chair of European Union, Collegium of Socio-Economics, Warsaw School of Economics. Involved in numerous national and international research projects and teaching modules as coordinator. She coordinated many national and international research projects, including some financed through Jean Monnet Modules and 7 Framework Programme of European Commission. She holds membership of many national and international organizations. Between 2007 and 2010 she was a member of Committee on Economic Sciences of Polish Academy of Sciences. In October 2013 prof. Ewa Latoszek was selected to be expert of Horizon 2020 Programme - Advisory Group SC6.
Her research interests include: international organizations and their role in the contemporary world, European integration, EU common policies, Poland as EU member. Author of more than 200 publications on European integration. As an expert participated in Polish accession to the EU and was one of the first academics in Poland receiving Jean Monnet and PHARE grants in 1990s as coordinator. In 2011/12 – Project Coordinator of Conference “EUintegRATIO” (7th Framework Programme), in 2013/14 of L’Académie du Jeune Européen (LLP, JM Programme) and in 2014/15 of Conference “EuInteg” (Erasmus+, Jean Monnet Project). Main functions a.o. Member of Steering Committee of the Research Alliance for Development, the World Bank (RAD), Member of Polish Academy of Sciences, Deputy Dean, Coordinator of European Studies and Ad Hoc Advisory Group SWAFS. President of Polish European Community Studies Association (PECSA) and Vice-president of ECSA-World.
