Jacek Saryusz-Wolski, PhD, MEP (EPP, Poland) is Vice-President of the European People's Party and Vice Chairman of the EPP Group in the European Parliament responsible for foreign affairs. Since September 2014 EP standing rapporteur on Ukraine. Member of the Foreign Affairs, Constitutional Affairs and Economic and Monetary Affairs Committees. Member of the EP Delegation to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee and Delegation to the Eastern Partnership Parliamentary Assembly Euronest. Jacek Saryusz-Wolski was Poland’s first Minister for European Integration, one of the architects and negotiators of Poland’s association and membership with the EU (1991-96, 2000-2001). Member of the European Parliament since 2004, was the first Pole to serve as the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee and Vice-President of the European Parliament. He also was the head of the European Research Centre at the University of Łódz; Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute, Florence; Professor and director of the European Union Institute at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw; vice-Rector of the College of Europe (Brugge, Natolin) and the founder and President of the European Institute in Łódź. Vice-President of the Board of the Polish Institute of International Affairs, Board member of TEPSA and Friends of Europe. He received the Order of 'Polonia Restituta’, the French Legion d'Honneur, the Ukrainian Order of Merit and the Georgian Presidential Order of St. George.
